Delete your account and change your mind? You have a 60-day window to recover everything, exactly as you left it. After 60 days, the data is permanently erased.
While your organisation account is active, we retain all account and business data (inventory, sales, services, purchases, financials, payroll, and configuration) so the Service works as expected.
You can delete your account at any time from Account → Danger Zone. Deletion is confirmed with your password.
Deletion is a soft delete. For 60 days after deletion, your data is retained intact and your account can be fully recovered — with all business data restored — from the account recovery page using your original credentials.
This protects you against accidental or mistaken deletion. No data is lost during the recovery window.
After the 60-day window elapses, soft-deleted organisations and users are permanently and irreversibly purged by an automated routine, along with their associated business data. Once purged, data cannot be recovered.
Where applicable law requires us to retain certain records (for example, tax or financial transaction records) for a longer statutory period, we retain the minimum necessary for the required duration, isolated from active systems, and delete it once the obligation ends.
Operational backups are kept on a rolling schedule for disaster recovery and expire automatically. Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups until those backups rotate out, after which it is unrecoverable.
If you require immediate, permanent deletion before the 60-day window ends (waiving your recovery right), contact privacy@bmssuite.online and we will process the request subject to any legal retention obligations.
